@ChestnutTreeCafe3 years ago In Islam the husband is responsible for maintaining his wife and children. She can work but her income is only for her, whereas men are required to spend their income on their home and family. Men are required to give mahr or dowry to his bride before marriage for her security. It is actually quite easy to be a woman in Islam but people think Islam is so bad for women. Islam is a protection for women (and men) and it elevates their status and gives them their dignity. Perhaps this is why there are 4 women who convert to Islam for every man who converts to Islam. Becoming a Muslim was the best decision I have ever made. It has shown me how valuable I am as a person, a woman, a mother.. Islam is true liberation. Alhamdulilah ... 2995

@idnanali46683 years ago A t-shirt insulting Jesus (PBUH) would definitely get a reaction from us Muslims. Christians don't understand how important Jesus and his holy mother are to us. Mary (PBUH) has an entire chapter dedicated to her in the Quran. ... 347

@themuhammad13 years ago Absolutely on the spot. If someone even says a word against my faith, I get furious naturally. But keeping in mind to control rage and be patient learned from Islam, I listen and reply in a good and polite manner.
Edit: I'm from Pakistan and our society is conservative based on Islamic teachings including the country's constitution starts in the name of Almighty Allah and declares prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as successor to Prophet Eesa (Jesus; peace be upon him) and as the last prophet.

@idanolin98033 years ago He is so right. Im a born muslim and am 52 year old. When i was 10 years old i was studying in an anglican school. Many students of my age condemned Islam and i will go all the way to defend my religion at the tender age, i will never allow anyone to say a single word mocking/criticizing Allah our Prophet Muhammad pbuh. I always feel that it is so important for us all to stand for Islam no matter what age. I wasn’t taught to do it, but the love for Allah love for our Prophet Muhammad pbuh and the love of Islam u just will do it. ... 31

@abdulaleem92073 years ago he did raise some valid points. but I have a problem with these guys. their appeal or inclination to islam comes from western media's critique about 'sexual fantasies', polygamy et al.
not a new found enlightenment of Tawhid, or acceptance of an islamic moral paradigm. we muslims fall for anything. May God guide us and them.
