The Bacup Job. House Sinks into Bog

Here we are at Bacup in Lancashire. It's a lovely day but as i pull in the chap in charge of the job tells me he wants a lift as it is too rough for his 4x4 pick-up truck. Alarm bells are already going off silently in my head when i hear this. So we carry on, I will give each job a fair go before I decide whether it is doable. Anyway we climb up fully loaded but even when we are at a very rough loose area 1st gear is not low enough but in crawler she starts to spin, fearing for my half shafts I back down and try again in crawler and diff lock. When we do get to the top the view may be nice but there is very little room for manoeuvre. When we are making our way down the side of the road sinks into the ditch as i drive over it.
