Luigi's Mansion 3 is upon us, and as well as being a spooky game, it's also a wonderful example of how to do game development right. Developers Next Level Games, in partnership with Nintendo, have created a game while striving primarily for an ethical approach to their craft. What does ethical game development mean? Simple: avoiding crunch, treating employees like people, and allowing for a healthy work/life balance. Mike Mood and The Kindly Beast could learn a lot from these guys! It's been so refreshing to spend some time researching a game studio that actually makes employee comfort a priority. We've loved the chance to highlight such a caring studio, and we hope you agree that this kind of business practice should be industry standard. Just look at the kind of amazing games it can produce!
