It was always going to get tougher to get out each night on this 23-Night Milky Way challenge. 1- Just sheer exhaustion 2- The Moon was going to get trickier and trickier to work around. Night 21 was one of those nights where the Moon was rising SO LATE in the morning, I had the option of recovering from problem #1 my sheer exhaustion and getting extra sleep before going out OR ignoring problem #1 and leaving early and waiting on location for the Milky Way. As the guy in Indiana Jones the Last Crusade said: "He chose... poorly." Knowing that Night 22 & 23 were going to be ON-LOCATION arrive and wait scenarios for my finale of this challenge, I decided to sleep and give myself the minimum amount of time to get the shot. Come hell or high water.
