@chloe5susan5 years ago I am female 64. I just did a 4 day fast (actually 144 hrs) first two day tough but next 2 two days great!
Only drank green tea, took pink salt and some potassium chloride. I broke my fast with drinking Bone broth from Walmart ( organic) a cup at a time over 5 hrs. I Then added roasted broccoli with small amount olive oil, pink salt ( yummy)
Tiny loose stool. Felt great slept great
I only walked 40 min a day at 3 miles an hour. I’m short
    Start weight 167.2
    Weight before break 158.6
    Next morning 158.8
    Feel great
Important to add small amount of food. I really recommend the Bone broth to start the re feed!!

@NZHeike4 years ago I lost almost 60 pounds by doing intermittent fasting last year (oops, it's now almost two years ago) and I have held the new shape/weight easily. I am now a UK size 8 (down from a UK 16/18) and have total control over my body now. In the past I didn't know how to manipulate my shape and weight, now it's clear and I know when I can eat to not put weight on or lose a bit more. It is an enormous relief to know what to do and I think everybody should know about this. ... 20

@2369drew4 years ago I did a 72 hr fast. no cheating no coffe. all water and at times sea salt. when I was done. I could have gone longer. it was funny. I felt I forgotten what food tasted like. I did it for new stem cells. when I started to fast. I could go for 2 years barely remembering if I got sick from a cold. for sure your immune skyrocket. ... 41

I finished my second 48 hour fast and getting ready to implement a 36 hour fast every week. @waynemoore38535 years ago I've been fasting for around 12 months, mostly 18/6 and 20/4 6 days per week (1 fast free day), with some 24 hour fasts (1 per week).  Never needed to do it for weight loss, as I've always been in shape.  I do it for the cognitive and other benefits.  Love it :) ... 2

@agecmorgan735 years ago I would suggest to newbies, start with IF, OMAD first. That will help your body ease into it. Also, if you cut out sugar for at least a week prior to lower your insulin, that will majorly help.
I am seriously so happy that more people are waking up to the dangers of the SAD diet and all of the misinformation out there.

@cfd23574 years ago Multiple 3’s 4’s, 5x7’s, 1x10, 1x14, just broke my record with a 15 day... 18h-3D is optimal for feeling “reset”. To kick sugar cravings, 4 day is my optimal. The longer fast were mental test for my own personal test.
Through this I learned I eat out of boredom and bad habits.
3-4 days is optimal for a keto start...

126.5 at start of 48 hr fast, 7 more hours to go. I weighed myself this morning and I was 122.2. Baby steps, need to be 110.0 by summer. My perfect weight! I am 5ft 1in tall, so I don’t have a body distortion issue. Just want to not scare anyone on the lake wen I paddleboard in a bikini.

@pearlms16245 years ago I am 43 hours in to a 48 fast right now. May I ask at what times of the day you stopped and started? (Can't tell from video). I do IF regularly as well and had already made it ~20 hrs when I spontaneously decided to go and ahead push ahead towards 48. I started reading up on the health benefits to help pass the time. Impressed you could work out during this! :) I walked the first day, may push harder today after I start eating again. Hardest part is my allergies are giving me a minor sore throat & I want a lozenge so bad, but it would break the fast. I should drink hot water for it, but a bit tired/lazy! :) Thanks for posting this! ...

@anzatzi4 years ago I do omd, so going 48 hrs was just skipping one meal. I didn't really notice ny hunger. Like anything, its all about preparation. And a while no sugar no grains no carb diet takes alittle time to adjust to, it makes fasting super easy ...
  • @
@DannyB-cs9vx3 years ago What I never understood is being hungry is not painful. It is more of an annoyance. I quit alcohol and tobacco many years ago, so I do know how to ignore urges, because I know that they will pass. I just never applied this to eating. My heaviest weight was just under 200. I am now under 170. I can still "pinch more than an inch", so I am using intermittent fasting with a goal of 150. If I can lose 1/4th of my body weight, it will impress the heck out of me. ... 1
