Camote Que is a popular merienda (snack) among Filipinos. The slices of sweet potatoes are fried and caramelized with brown sugar and served skewered in a bamboo stick. Camote cue is a popular street food here in the Philippines along with banana cue, turon, fish ball, tokneneng, kikiam, kwek-kwek, etc.
But my Camote cue version is cut into strips like that of a french fries, so there's no need to skewer it.
It's perfect for a home cook merienda (snacks)
Enjoy!
