    @dhaightful61633 years ago Take your grating and cut it into short pieces and turn it. Tack weld at the joints. It will take the load of the trucks. Ps, if you had built the slab 3' #39; higher you would have been safe from the rain water. 1

    concrete up 6" higher, then grade away from building, then your french drain would have worked fine.
    a with those roll up doors, there are air barriers you can install around them to lower air infiltration and make it a little more efficient. They are 6" brooms installed all around the door that keep air from blowing around the doors, which are really hard to seal. You see them often on commercial buildings. ...Expand

    @livingaboard2 years ago Maybe just get somebody or you could weld some extra metal on those where the trucks run over them and that would help. And id get some edging for the dirt coming off the lawn so it doesn' t get in the drains.

    @lanehale92103 years ago Ive drove over grates like yours for your drain troughs before and never bowed. Ive also installed them. They cut those grates the wrong way and that caused them to bow.

    @blowingdiesel3 years ago The grates are fine to drive over the problem is that they are installed wrong they need to be flipped 90* right now all the pressure from the trucks is on the small rods thats why they are bending. 10

    @jonbmet3 years ago You installed the grating backwards. The bearing bars (thicker bars) should be across the shorter span of the drain. There' s only a 1/4" bar taking the load of your trucks.

    @davidkelly92183 years ago Have you fixed your drainage grates yet? These need to be turned 90 degrees so that the heavy flat bars go from side to side. The small bars that have bent are just to hold the flat bar in place vertically.
