CONSUMMATION OF GRIEF - Charles Bukowski I even hear the mountains the way they laugh up and down their blue sides and down in the water the fish cry and all the water is their tears. I listen to the water on nights I drink away and the sadness becomes so great I hear it in my clock it becomes knobs upon my dresser it becomes paper on the floor it becomes a shoehorn a laundry ticket it becomes cigarette smoke climbing a chapel of dark vines… it matters little very little love is not so bad or very little life what counts is waiting on walls I was born for this I was born to hustle roses down the avenues of the dead. RADIO BUKOWSKI is a lo-fi rock project of guitarist Guilherme Lucas in partnership with illustrator Pedro Sousa Pereira, dedicated to building sound backgrounds, later illustrated, of the poetry recited by the late writer Charles Bukowski. GUILHERME LUCAS Born in Portugal in 1964, Guilherme Lucas is a musician and a gig goer, with written opinion. Guitarist in Portuguese rock bands since the 80’s, such as Martinis, Cães Vadios, Dead Singer and GG Ramone. He is the musician and composer in Radio Bukowski, a lo-fi project dedicated to building electric guitar background sounds to the poetry recited by the late writer, Charles Bukowski. PEDRO SOUSA PEREIRA Pedro Sousa Pereira was born in Angola in 1966. Journalist and illustrator of dead poets. He illustrated "Mensagem", "Ode Marítima", "Tabacaria", "Ode Triunfal" and "Lisbon Revisited" by Fernando Pessoa; "Livro de Cesário Verde" by Cesário Verde; "Só" by António Nobre and is currently illustrating "War and Peace" by Tolstoy and "Desenhos Desanimados" written by Pedro Khron. RADIO BUKOWSKI é um projeto de rock lo-fi do guitarrista Guilherme Lucas em parceria com o ilustrador Pedro Sousa Pereira, que se dedica a construir fundos sonoros, posteriormente ilustrados, da poesia recitada pelo saudoso escritor Charles Bukowski.
