Dr. Mahabir Pun was involved in Nepal Wireless Project, Internet, Education and Health sectors in the rural areas of Nepal for the past two decades. Later, he established the NIC, National Innovation Center (nicnepal.org) Nepal to provide the working platform for those who want to contribute the nation. Recently, he is busy working with Nepali Engineers in the NIC for inventing the medical drone for transporting medicines to the very remote rural areas of Nepal where instant transportation is impossible. This medical drone will work by tracking the GPS so that it can work in any weather (even in cloudy, rainy and snowy weather). Dr. Pun and his team successfully launched the pilot flight of the medical drone in NANGI village (2260m) in the presence of Chief District Officer (CDO) for Myagdi district on the 8th April 2018. The medical drone team is still working for further improvement in it so that it will be perfect one.
