“WHAT TO SAY when you cannot ANSWER an INTERVIEW QUESTION!” by Richard McMunn of: https://passmyinterview.com/21-great-answers-to-tough-interview-questions/ #interviewtips #interviewquestions #interviewquestionsandanswers In any job interview, it is possible you will encounter tough interview questions where you do not know what to say when you cannot answer an interview question. - What do you do when you can't answer an interview question? - What to say when you don't have an answer? - How to answer an interview question when you don't have the experience? Here are 3 great options to have ready of what to say when you cannot answer an interview question: OPTION #1 Tell the interviewer you do not know the answer to the interview question, but that you will get back to them with an answer when you get back from the interview! *** FOLLOW UP EMAIL WHEN YOU CANNOT ANSWER AN INTERVIEW QUESTION *** Dear sir, RE: Answer to today’s interview question and thank you. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be interviewed today for the position of xxx. During the interview, I promised to come back to you with the answer to the interview question, xxx. My answer is as follows: (INSERT THE ANSWER HERE) I thoroughly enjoyed the interview process and I very much look forward to working for your organization if I am successful. If you need any further information from me, please do not hesitate to ask. Yours faithfully, INSERT YOUR NAME HERE INSERT YOUR MOBILE NUMBER HERE OPTION #2 Give yourself some time and ask the interviewer if it is OK to come back to the interview question later in the interview. OPTION #3 If they ask you a behavioral interview question, but you have never been in that situation before, tell them about a time when you observed the situation being played out by someone else. For example, if the interviewer asks you the question: “Tell me about a time you delivered excellent customer service.” Instead of saying… “I’ve never been in that situation before, so I cannot give you an answer, sorry.” Tell them about a time you were on the receiving end of good customer service! @nancyayabei52493 years ago To be honest, i don' t where to start thanking you richard. It' s almost an year i attended an interview after following your interview videos i i passed again on my second interview in june 2020, thereafter i was called for salary negotiation, it was tough time for i had various youtube videos but i put all my faith in you. In august 2020 i was offered an acceptance letter which i was given time to still negotiate the salary.
finally i landed to my dream job. I' m lost of words to say many thanks richard.
be blessed and may god bless you abundantly. My advice to job seekers is first know what you want in a job, is it growth or money. But i would advise you if you' re still young and in your early years of job look for competence, experience look for skills. So as in the next interviews you will not taken for task why you want this salary you will be the one selling yourself out

@oekfoh86843 years ago Great video, one thing i would have to say though which is probably implied in guides such as this is to also be yourself, otherwise you will look robotic i feel like the reason why i' m in the position that i am in my workplace is because of me just being myself right from the beginning. It could of been pure luck and wouldn' t work for everyone but i had a simple resume (if it even was that) with just my relevant work experience, my available hours and my contact number if ever they were interested. During the interview i was just straight up, and honest and never used jargon words or anything that sounds smarter than i really was.
this probably doesn' t apply to everybody for every job, but being myself and blunt, worked for me and i am more than happy with my career progress at 25 years of age

@brewn0te2 years ago When asked for a specific example, i liked the added idea of acknowledging that " i' ve been in that situationbefore saying you need some time to think about it. Going straight to " i need time to think about that. " could create the immediate impression that you have nothing to share about that. This seems obvious to me know after watching this, but it was helpful and brilliant from my point of view. Thank you. Subscribed. ...Expand 1
