Delhi university has taken a commendable step by offering fee exemptions to students hailing from low-income families. This initiative aims to provide an opportunity for economically disadvantaged students to pursue B.Tech studies at the institution. According to the report, the annual fee for the B.Tech course has been set at INR 2.16 lakh. However, families with an annual income of up to INR 4,00,000 will be exempt from paying any fee. For families with an income ranging from INR 4,00,000 to INR 8,00,000, a reduced fee of half the amount will be applicable. Students from higher income brackets will be required to pay the full fee. This inclusive approach by the university ensures that talented students from financially constrained backgrounds have equal access to quality education in the field of B.Tech. It promotes inclusivity and diversity within the student community, fostering a supportive learning environment. By providing fee exemptions, the university aims to alleviate financial burdens and open doors for deserving students to pursue their dreams of studying B.Tech. This initiative is a positive step towards creating equal opportunities for all students, regardless of their economic circumstances.
