Life is change, creative people know this better than most since in youth poets and writers often never knew much about stability. With age comes some maturity and a new sense of exploration into other related art forms. These actions often reflect a mirror of insecurity and old childhood memories of failure. This poem is about those insecurities, some stability, and exploration into change with the old emotions still holding a tentative grip on progress. In this case, the movement is from rhymed poetry to free verse, to the unknown the challenge of fiction writing. Poet, business owner, Michael Lee Johnson is published in more than 1072 new publications, his poems have appeared in 39 countries, he edits, publishes 10 poetry sites. He is from DuPage County, Itasca, IL. Michael Lee Johnson has been nominated for 2 Pushcart Prize awards poetry 2015/1 Best of the Net 2016/2 Best of the Net 2017, 2 Best of the Net 2018.
