Basic Pilates requires no special equipment- just a mat for floor work. Pilates can be very helpful for preventing injuries. Pilates can also help to improve recovery/ rehabilitation in orthopedic patients, heart failure patients. It is helpful for pelvic floor muscle strengthening. Studies show Pilates can help decrease pain and improve functionality in fibromyalgia patients. #WOW with Doc Wade Wellness On Wednesdays One minute. One health tip. Once weekly.
