I grew up catholic. The music at most catholic masses sounds like funeral dirges.
Times I’ve been with friends to other (African-American) church services similar to what this video shows (although I WISH I’d ever seen this type of PERFORMANCE-yes, I said it!—read some hate comments below, if you have no idea what I’m talking about) I thought were amazing, and I loved going! The preaching—meh, not so enjoyable to me, but at least it was entertaining!—but the music was flipping amazing, and I can’t imagine God or the Great Spirit or our entwined consciousness or whatEVER not being pleased to be worshipped with such beautiful, sincere music and talent. ... 4
