They say 3rd time is a charm! This is an Apple Pie Cinnamon Roll! I used my milk bread dough recipe from the sweet potato pie cinnamon I created previously. I’m proud of these! So fluffy, so gooey, so tasty!
Mise en Place
For the Milk Bread Dough:
✨ 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
✨ 1/4 cup sugar
✨ 1/2 teaspoon salt
✨ 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
✨ 1/2 cup warm milk
✨ 1/4 cup softened butter
✨ 1 egg
For the Apple Pie Filling:
✨ 2 medium-sized apples, peeled and sliced
✨ 1/4 cup brown sugar
✨ 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
✨ 1 tablespoon lemon juice
For the Apple pie Butter:
✨ 1 cup brown Sugar sugar
✨ 1 tablespoon apple pie spice
✨ 1 Stick unsalted butter
For the Cream Cheese Glaze:
✨ 1 block of cream cheese, softened
✨ 1/4 cup powdered sugar
✨ 2 tablespoons milk
✨ 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
