Variations and progressions for traditional yoga "pigeon pose". Good kino (kinesthetic awareness required! Beginners go slow!) Often in Yoga classes "Pigeon Pose" is a pose that (in my opinion) could be better. Normally you just place your leg in front of you bent at 90 degrees (or less if you are less flexible or are doing half-pigeon. However, we think that there are several ways of making the stretch deeper and better if you take the time to wind up the joint and the tissue into flexion + external rotation using your hands. This allows you to get access to stretching some of the deeper, gnarlier bits of your hips that you wouldn't otherwise have access to. Try these 3 variations and see what works best for you! -Shane GotROM.com - Build an Injury Free, Athletic Body E : Support@GotROM.com ===================== Do you have FAI or Hip Impingement? http://www.TheFAIFix.com ===================== RECOMMENDED MOBILITY TOOLS: https://www.gotrom.com/p/the-hip-stick https://www.amazon.com/shop/gotrom https://www.hyper-phoenix.com/discount/SHANE 👉(COUPON CODE "SHANE" for discount) Note: affiliate links included above ===================== The FAI Fix is a joint undertaking by Upright Health and Got ROM http://UprightHealth.com http://GotROM.com ===================== WANT EXCLUSIVE VIDEOS NOT FOUND ON YOUTUBE?
