@Kailiria3 years ago I went to the emergency in severe pain yesterday. I had to wait five hours to get any meds or fluids (i almost passed out! Turns out, i have a bad kidney that being said, more than half the people that showed up when i did, bailed half way through. Lol if you have a true medical emergency, you' re not leaving that hospital, you actually need help. You feel like your life is in trouble, and you are gonna stay where you can feel safe. While waiting, i heard people asking stuff like, " can i get my vaccination here? " " my kid is sneezing, should i bring him in here? I also brought my other 4 kids. " " can i get my labs done here? " " we were exposed about two weeks ago, and my daughter is throwing up this morning, i wanted to get a covid test for both of us? " " i was so happy to get out of work, i' m gonna make sure they give me a note. " and then theres all the people being mean about a wait, but they' re walking around fine enough to have energy and an attitude. I was a shell in the corner, waiting for help while lots of people were there for bs.
oh! There was also a super drunk guy cussing at everyone so staff attention had to go to him while they were already struggling. It was ridiculous. Not only are people panicking over everything, they' re wasting resources and people' s time with stuff they can go to a regular doctor for. I literally suffered because people are selfish and think the emergency room is a check up office. I hate every single person in there that kept me from getting help. I' ll never forget how bad i felt while people around me were chatting and happy. Idk who needs to hear this, but the emergency room is for emergencies. Please dont make other people suffer because, " your elbow feel funny, your elbow feelyou' re gonna cause someone to not get help who needs it, and that' s awful. ...Expand 1
