In this regard, the provincial education department has issued a notification, according to which it will be allowed to open offices every week in June and on Tuesdays to run administrative affairs under the QSOPs. Following the notification, provincial education minister Murad Rass himself confirmed that private schools across the province have been allowed to open for two days. The notification further said that private schools have been allowed to open offices for collection of fees and distribution of teachers' salaries. Earlier, the federal government had announced closure of educational institutions across the country till July 15. The Education Minister had said that the promotion in the next class would be done on the basis of past results and performance. Shafqat Mahmood had said that the holidays should be considered as summer vacations. If the Corona virus problem is resolved, educational institutions will reopen in June. However, the government's decisions were later refused by the school owners and they were asked to reopen the schools.
