Hello guys, I'm sorry that I did not explain the discount system in paperchase very well but I was confused about it myself. So everything (except Christmas items) that was on sale was discounted further 50%. So if something was discounted 70%, it was discounted 50 % again. e.g. backpack that initially costed £30 was discounted 70% to £9 but at the till you were given further %50 so that means the total price for that backpack was only £4.50. The final 50% is being taken off the total of your receipt so this is why the prices on the receipt are still only minus first discount and then the total amount on the receipt is 50% off.
