Paris and Amber Strother are Minneapolis-born twins who create sonic textures and dreamy synth-driven R&B from their shared vocabulary as friends, sisters, and Minnesota natives under the moniker We Are KING. They hold the ground-breaking distinction of being the first independent artists to earn a Grammy nomination for Best Urban Contemporary Album for their eponymous debut in 2016.
