People often in error equate jealousy with envy; it’s not the same thing. Jealousy is seeing what someone else has and because you want it and don’t have it you exhibit some kind of childish tantrum, you don’t like that person and it is obvious to others why. Envy on the other hand is appreciation for what someone else has or admiration for their qualities, you like them.
The solution to jealousy is to grow up and understand that you can often have what you want, the things and qualities that others have.
