Zander Fishing with Light Sticks | TAFishing

Zander are on of the meanest looking predator fish in the world! Also referred to as the vampire fish. You can catch them on lures and bait and they are becoming increasingly popular in the UK. Zander predominantly feed at night. This is evident due to their large eyes which allow them to see well in the dark. Graeme & Mike head to Bury Hill Fisheries, one of the top stillwater Zander fisheries in the UK. They both take a different approach, but both are using dead roach as bait. The rig couldn't be simpler, a single hook and a wire trace. The only difference is Graeme uses light sticks on his rig, in the hope of attracting the Zander to his bait when it gets dark.
