The motorized display produces a gentle and relaxing wave pattern as it tilts from side to side about its motorized base, soothing away stress and inducing a state of calm. The 22" Hughes "Model One" Wave Motion Machine is available for purchase in the shop. You can also purchase high quality CNC machined cast acrylic replacement vessels, which feature the patent-pending Hughes Wave Fluid Formula, for all vintage 16"-30" Lava Lite or Lava Simplex brand "The Wave" Machines, the Discovery Store Tranquil Tide Machine, and Wave F/X machines . We also offer the hand-operated 18" Hughes WaveCell and 12" WaveTube sensory devices. The WaveTube was initially developed for children on the Autism spectrum and behavioral therapists, but it turns out it is a hit with adults as well for it's therapeutic and engaging properties. Lastly, in house services, from new motors to new fluids, and customization, such as base/fluid color changes and custom vessel configurations, are available by special request for all vintage Lava Lite and Lava Simplex brand machines.
